Rocko and Kane need homes!
Rocko is a handsome dog with fantastic stripes. He is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A22907307. The dog is about 2 years old and came to the shelter when his family could no longer care for him.
Meanwhile, Kane is a black lab mix who was found on a vacant lot and brought to the shelter as a stray. His tag number is A23709193. He’s energetic, friendly and fun-loving. He loves treats, and seems to get along well with other dogs. He wants a home of his own.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Rick is ready for cuddles
Rick is an adorable 4-month-old kitten who is reserved and mannerly, but who also has a playful side. He is in foster care via Northeast Animal Rescue.
The cat loves to run, play with and wrestle with his canine and feline housemates. He enjoys lounging on his foster mom’s bed or snuggling with a foster friend when he’s tired. He would do best in a home with another companion animal.
Rick is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
